AI Assistants (MCP)
You can connect Claude, ChatGPT, Grok or another AI assistant to your Koywe account and ask it about your balances, your orders or what’s pending your approval. You write to it in your own words and it looks things up in Koywe for you.
You don’t need to write code or create API credentials. You add Koywe as a connector in your assistant, sign in with your usual Koywe login and choose what it can see and do.
The connection uses MCP (Model Context Protocol), an open standard that AI assistants use to connect to other applications.
The AI prepares, you confirm and Koywe executes. The assistant never signs for you. A payout, a conversion or a crypto purchase it prepares stays on hold until you confirm it in Koywe with your passkey (or with an email code, if your organization allows it).
Where it’s available
| Production | Sandbox | |
|---|---|---|
| Server address | https://mcp.koywe.com/mcp | https://mcp-sandbox.koywe.com/mcp |
| View information | Available | Available |
| Prepare operations (payments, contacts, crypto) | Not available for now | Available if your organization has the approval policy active |
| Data | Your real money | Test data |
The approval policy guarantees that a person confirms every operation; without it, the assistant only looks things up. To try operations without touching real money, see Testing in Sandbox.
What you can ask
| You ask | What the assistant does |
|---|---|
| ”What’s my balance in each business?” | Reads your balances by account and currency. |
”Find order ord_123e4567-e89b-12d3-a456-426614174000” | Finds the order and shows you its status. |
| ”What approvals do I have pending?” | Lists what’s waiting for your signature, with the link to resolve it in Koywe. |
| ”If I send 1,000 USD to Colombia, how many pesos arrive?” | Estimates the operation and tells you what details that destination requires. |
| ”Pay 2,500,000 COP to Acme Supplies” (sandbox) | Quotes the payout and, if you agree, leaves it waiting for your signature. |

How it works
For now, preparing operations is only available in sandbox. In production, the assistant only looks up your account.
You ask for something
For example, “Pay 2,500,000 COP to Acme Supplies”.
The assistant quotes it
It shows you the amount, the fee and how long the quote is valid, and asks whether to go ahead.
It gets the operation ready
If you say yes, it creates it in Koywe, unsigned, and gives you a link to confirm it.
You confirm in Koywe
You confirm with your passkey and Koywe executes it.
Keep in mind:
- The assistant acts as you. It uses your Koywe account, with your roles. If you can’t see something in the platform, neither can the assistant.
- It only sees what you share. When you connect, you choose one organization, the businesses and the permissions.
- The connection lasts 24 hours. After that, your assistant asks you to sign in again.
- The assistant can’t cancel anything. If something doesn’t look right, don’t confirm it, or reject it in Koywe.
- The assistant can make mistakes. Your assistant writes the answers, not Koywe. When in doubt, check the information in Koywe: it’s the source of truth.
Supported assistants
It’s a standard MCP server: it works with any MCP-compatible assistant, agent or editor that supports remote servers with sign-in (OAuth). For example, Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, Cursor or VS Code with GitHub Copilot.
Want to automate processes without a person involved? The MCP server always uses a person’s account and doesn’t accept API keys. For that, use the API or the CLI.
